LT1 Air Pump + 13B

This is a last effort to use my LT1 electric air pump in place of the stock one (the stock one is in the way of my IC plumbing). Another forum member told me he burned up two trying. Anyone done this with success?

I saw this idea on Steve's site, about 1/3 of the way down...

CCarlisi tried it. Those electric air pumps are only designed to run for ~7 seconds at a time, unlike the RX7 air pump which is designed to run a helluva lot more often

PM him if you like.

Why not mate it to a swtich or something so it runs only for emmisions testing?
