LA Low vacuum after hooking up TCA?

Hi,

I was having boost issues and in looking for the issue with that I discovered the line going from the Turbo Control Actuator to the solenoid was disconnected. I hooked it back up and started the car to find I now had rough idle and low vacuum. I've checked for disconnected lines but everything is in place. I've also searched the forum but no answers were found.

If there's anything anyone could think of let me know.

Thanks

Ryan

Seems strange that would cause low vacuum and rough idle. What happens when you disconnect the line again? Does the issue resolve? try adjusting the idle screw.

Its idling at around 1000rpm, by rough I mean its not running smooth (to the point where the motor shakes), and its got a PowerFC.

Anything else you touch in the process? Sounds like another leak somewhere.

That was the only thing I touched, it was like I flicked a switch and the car ran poorly.

Update:bad injector

Just to close out this thread I figured I'd give an update. It just so happened that between turning the car off, hooking up the vacuum line, and restarting the car my primary injector on the front rotor failed. 1 rotor running=low vacuum and the motor running roughly, in case anyone has a similar issue.

That happened to me before, went to a restaurant came out the car was running on one rotor, turn out to be a cracked o-ring on the secondary injector.
