When you wire up the resistor in line with the injector, does it mater wich side of the injector it is in line with? Wich prong in the plug.

I am thinking it doesn't, because from what I know the injectors can be wired either way, Is that correct.

Does not matter ,I always splice into the color coded wire for each injector . LG/W and LG ,I mount the resistors on an alum plate for a heat sink in the cabin near the ECU .They are out of the heat , dirt and vibration

 

Any way you could guide me to a diagram of the ECU pin out, or the colors of the wires to splice into by the ECU, both would be great.

Sounds like a good idea to mount in the cabin. Not sure if I have enough time to do this or not though.

 

One more question:

The ohm difference between the stock injectors and the ones I have are 11.5. Can I get away with a 10 ohm resistor, or should I run a 10 ohm inline with a 1 ohm resitor?

 

I would use 6ohm 6 watt resistors instead. Mouser electronics sells a really nice/cheap 6watt resistor. I tried 10ohm/10watt and had a tough time getting the car to even start.

i have found that if you are removing the rats nest and emmisions it is easier and just as effective to mount the resistors using the space all your sequential solinoids and vaccume lines occupied. as for witch wire it does not matter but i recomend using the positive it is a thicker wire and will make it easier to solder to. when i switched to the GT35R\40 i had to upgrade my fuel injectors so i went all out and they have had no problems if you are looking for good parts check out RX7store.net Jason and Xzavier have great stuff and their prices are pretty good.

 

I made 360 @ 12 psi. To be honest I was hoping for a bit more. Somewere around 400. Steve said it was making 10 psi @3000 rpm, I have a gt4042. I was pretty suprised that it boosted this well. Unfortunatly, My injecters seemed to maxed out. In 2004 I made 340hp to the wheels on stock fuel system with a pettit ECU and bolt ons. I was pushing around 15 PSI though. I thought 1200/750 and a walboro fuel pump would be plenty of injector for 400 hp.

I have 10 ohm ceramic resisters on each injector. There was a 11.5 ohm difference between the the stock and RC injectors. Is this the wrong way to do this? Could this be the reason for the high duty cycle, or are the side feed injectors that more efficient?
