Low idle and finally dies after rebuild reinstall

Hi there!

So after re-installing my newly rebuilt engine, besides airpump that is dead and this connector and flat male terminal I could not find where they go to (see pic), I have a very low shitty and bumpy idle around 500 rpm and the car finally dies every time.
Last attempts it got flooded and didn't restart even after drying up the chambers and plugs...

I might have an issue with the throttle cable tension but beside this I can't see what's wrong...

I'll check the dashpot and so but I doubt it got touched during rebuild...

Any ideas of common re-install mistakes or required tune-up and checkings for these symptoms??

Thanks in advance guys!

Who built the engine? If a lot of parts were reused, it may take a while to build compression.

rebuilt was done in the netherlands as I'm in Europe.
All internals were changed except rotors (all seals, bearings, springs, etc...).
Old housings were re-used.
Started very well at first starts so I assume compressions are OK. Just doesn't hold idle.

Are you running a stock ECU? see if you can pull codes. is this a JDM, USDM or an EUDM car?

For some reason I thought i read somewhere here that if you are running the stock ecu and disconnect the airpump it will cause the car to not run properly.

I'm on a knightsport 4beat ECU. I know that with this one i have bumpy idle when airpump is not connected.
