Low Boost Problem

My car is only making like 2 to 3 pounds of boost. well i started snooping around with my friend and we found that the piping on the BOV had hardend and broke so we replaced it, well that fixed one of my problems wich was a dip in my boost. but now i need to figure out why my car isnt boosting at stock lvl's if anyone could give me some suggestions that would be much appreciated.

So what'd it fix? Besides a broken hose?

Make sure all your check valves are in working order and connected...take off the pressure box and look at the one under there. If there's not suppose to be one there, then I dunno, I found a blown off hose on a check valve under there.

If the piping on your BOV was hardened (mine was so bad the thing SHATTERED when I pulled it! WOW that be big heat!) how confident are you with the Y-pipe to crossover connector? Or the rest of the intake after turbos? I just read a thread from a guy who was SURE his piping was fine, had great vacuum, but low boost. Turned out he had a split in the IC connecting hose (upper or lower I'm not sure) That connctor can be cracked and the only way to know is to pull it off and stretch it! Look to the big hoses first, then the little ones, right guys? Guys?
