Lovely gift in the parking lot
Even when you park away from everyone, some ******* has to find a way to **** up your car. No idea who did it, walked out to see this lovely gift.

Sucks man. I always try to park as far away from other people as possible, but it always seems some huge *** truck will park right up on my car, nearly touching it, like they think it's a joke.
I was actually think of that a bit ago... I guess it depends on the cost of the fix. My first time with damage like this, so I don't know if they just just "fix" that area, or if they need to repaint the whole thing? In the past I've liked the shineauto feed style, and the pettit plateless 99 spec.
sucks man.......right after getting repainted, i got a nice dime sized ding in my rear quaterpanel right above the wheel, the ******* hit it so hard that it chipped the paint down to the metal.
thats why i keep a $100 deductible now.

Damn that sucks, things like that is what make me worry about taking the 7 out.
That happened to my MX-6 once, just got out of the body shop and some ******* in this Cavalier put a ding on my door, on the side where it just got painted and left it's ugly yellow paint on there. His car was still there when I got back, so I took my key around it twice.

Just get it repainted, no big deal. I had a Suburban back into me and put it's trailer hitch through the front grill of my Jetta. It had enough force to buckle the hood, fenders, and sheer off the parking pin in the automatic transmission. I said 'F it" and made that my excuse to convert to manual transmission. It cost $1,000 to get it back on the road and this is a car that is worth maybe $500. So your sitting pretty good from where I stand. WAY worse can happen. Also it's a good reason to get a proper security system with cameras.
And yes it is very possible. Attach the +12v instant trigger wire to the on switch of a carputer with a solid state flash memory hard drive, DVR car, and cameras. It'll turn on instantly and within about 1.2-1.4 seconds you'll be recording video. You can pick up license plates, faces, time stamps, GPS data, etc. That's all the evidence you need. And if you're really effing crazy you could just get a super efficient carputer and set the cameras to record constantly with a deep cycle battery like a Trojan or something. Well they don't even have to constantly record, but the carputer has to be constantly on. The moment it detects movement it'll rollback the video 5 or 10 seconds so you'll get the whole story on tape. Then if you really love your car, you'll buy a wireless data card for that carputer and set the video to automatically upload to a remote server. So even if it's stolen or they blow up your car, you have video of the whole event. Technology leaves no excuses these days.

I know getting your scuff fixed will be a lot cheaper but think about the advantage of spending more money. You will have a freshly painted updated, modern looking bumper. lol
Idk how people still keep their 93-95. Makes the FD look like a miata/probe.
Yeah, I just wasn't ready (mentally & financially) to deal with this. I did have plans (in the long run) to get an after-market hood & bumper, possibly a fully body kit. If I do this now it means putting off other things I want to do first. The hard part of choosing a front bumper (now) is not being able to see them in person for fit/finish and how it would look with the original fenders. Most of the pictures online are full body kits. I might just "take the cheap route" now and fix the paint, and keep my plans for a swap later on.
Between the time I saw this the other day and now, some irresponsible cowardly dipshit decided to bless me (well my wife) with a similar gift.. Only they got the rear driver quarter on her jetta... Oddly the paint looks fine, but the whole quarter is going to need reworked...
