Question Loudest or coolest sounding BOV

I want to know what you guys think on BOVs....

I was eyeballing the HKS (I like the whistle sound) but need to know what others are pretty loud or cool sounding...

Let me know what you guys think....

Im running stock Seq turbos.....

Does anyone have any wav files with BOV sounds?

Whatever happened to buying a BOV because it's "functional," "high-quality," and "reliable"? You won't be any "cooler" or "faster" with a loud chicken scratching BOV than you will with a nice GReddy Type S (or Type R for high boost) with your window rolled down making BOV noises with your mouth.

The stock BOV works just fine and it's quiet. There are enough sounds coming from a full exhaust and intake - why would you want to add another sound? I personally don't like the sound of them - just my 2c

AMP IT BABY!

Get your self a DC/AC converter, a microphone and a Fender amp. Duct tape the Mic to your BOV, then turn the amp volume to 10, and break glass!! You will make people think an invasion has occured and as a defense we are shooting off Patriot missles!! WHAT FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!

I want to find a blowoff for my car, but I want something that's going to perform the best. The HKS units are the ones I've heard are the best. When I had a T2, I had a japanese Blitz Super Sound blowoff and it sounded good, but didn't operate to well. I was only boosting 10psi and it took alot of adjusting to get it to stop leaking.

Sorry to bring this thread up. I was curious about the older style HKS racing bypass valve BOV. I heard they are actually more reliable then the newer HKS SSQ BOV. Does anyone have info on this. Thanks

Just vent your stock BOV to the atmosphere. Save yourself a few Benjamins...or spend it on something else for your FD. But if bling-bling is a must, go with the HKS Seq.
