Loud Whooshing Noise

Hi, first of all I dont know if I am being paranoid or if my mind is playing tricks on me and I have been hearing this for a while, but today I started to notice a very loud whooshing noise, like there is a ton of air being pushed, coming from my engine bay when under boost. Now I know your all saying loose hose, but I looked and could find nothing. Also, the car is boosting fine (it is set for 9.5-10 psi), and I have noticed no power drop, increase in spooling time, different boost pattern, temp raise, etc... I just dont remember hearing it this loud before today. My mods are in my sig, and any help would be great! thanks.

I could only think a leak in this situation. Although you are still boosting normal, that could be because you have a profec b. Your turbos are still getting 9.5-10psi to the engine, but may be working harder to do so. I could be wrong but check your couplings.

other than the usual loose clamps between your Y pipe and elbow to throttle body......

remove the 3 inch diam by 3 inch long rubber hose/coupling that sits on top of the Y pipe. examine it carefully for a 2-3 inch crack. (you will not be able to ascertain if it is cracked/leaking while it is in place.

good luck
