ME Lost power while driving

Ok so i started driving everything was fiine turbo working nothing seemed wrong. About 5 miles after i left out of no where i just suddenly lost almost all power. Even in first gear it struggles to get to 4k rpm. My turbo stopped working too. Any ideas what the problem is? The car is almost all stock. a little sidenote i have oil in the inside of some of the hose. I was told it might be a problem called blowby?

A small amount of oil inside the intake hoses is not unusual.
Is this a LHD model? And do you have a boost gauge? If you do, watch the gauge while you accelerate slowly. Does it stumble as soon as you see positive pressure/boost on the gauge?

ok so heres a little update..the earlier post was on an itouch. so i started driving home with the power loss.. and about half way my turbo started working again except boosting at only 5-6 psi. I also noticed the sound of the turbo spewing was more high pitch than normal but didnt think much of it. once i came to a stop i noticed the car was idling at about 1.2k rpm (normal is about 800rpm). whats even weirder is that when i turned off my headlights it would rev up and down by itself between 1 - 1.5k rpm. i really have no idea what it could be. ive checked all the hoses and everything that i can see is still connected.

Did you double check the MAP sensor vacuum/pressure hose? - that often pops off and gives symptoms similar to yours. The MAP sensor is the small rectangular black box labeled boost sensor mounted on the firewall near the brake booster. Since the symptoms are intermittent, maybe it is not completely off, but barely connected.

sounds like a vacuum leak/boost leak or the MAP as dave mentioned

Check your MAP sensor. Also check for a loose boost hose/intake tube.

agreed with TpCpLaYa here, it definitely sounded like a vacuum leak/boost leak/MAP sensor not secured properly.

Check the MAP hose, it never hurts to check that.

But my guess is a boost leak.

When you check the couplings, you have to look in great detail. Start with the diagonal pipe on top and remove the couplers on both ends. Take them off the car and bend them around so that you can find cracks. It doesn't take much to cause lost boost. Then if those are good remove the hoses on the intercooler. Remove the metal shields from the lower elbow and check anything rubber for a leak or tear.

Since you seem uncapable of simple problem checking, take it to a rotary mechanic.

ive had the problem of the map sensor getting knocked loose before so i kno how it is, but i just removed the intake box and noticed the hose connected to the right side of the box was not connected to anything else.i tried to look for where it was supposed to be connected to but couldnt find anything. could that possibly be the problem?

Check connections, especially to the intercooler. I had similar problem several yrs. ago. It was loose hose connection the intercooler. From the extinct BIG LIST.
