Lost my Lug Nut key
First time for everything! I was planning on installing my new pillow ball bushings today and lo and behold I couldn't find the key to remove my lugs. Never happened to me before.. Anyone dealt with this before? I'm not sure where to start, who to call or what to do.

Lost Lug Key
The wheels where on the car when I got it about three years ago. The wheels are HP Racing out of Florida. Is there any way to identify who makes the lugs or do they usually come with the wheels? Sorry if that's a dumb question, it's been a while since I bought a set of wheels.

Thanks to all who responded. If figured out they are McGard lugs and locks. I went to web site to check it out. Looks like I would need the registration papers to get a replacement key, which I don't have. I will give them a call on Monday just to be sure. If I can't get a replacement I will go the route of the reverse socket. Thanks again to all who responded. Next time I will keep a spare in a secure spot.

Call the wheel company. They should be able to provide you with a replacement key.

I have found the socket method to work very well in the past. Just get an impact socket a little bigger than the lug, hit it on there with a hammer and zap it off with an impact gun.

I bought my car with locking lugs, but they weren't factory, didn't come with the key, and I didn't know what brand they were. I took the car to sears with 4 new OEM lugs and they extracted the locking ones for me without even damaging them. It wasn't a lot, mebbe 20 or 30 bux IIRC.
