loss of power in mid-high RPM's?...

Im runnin stock injectors with a pfc and around 4.5-5 it just loses power and barely gains rpms...All the plugsand wires are in the right place, but there is a red-gray wire coming from the car harness on the lower drivers side of the motor that looks like to be cut...does it matter? All wires to the coil are hooked up also...I am pullin around 16 lbs of vacuum during idle and 23 when under load. Any suggestion would be great thanks...

It sounds like ignition break up or hesitation. It could be that you have bad grounding. Have you had your PFC tuned? What are your AFR's in the map region where you are getting hesitation?.

Damn. I have had a high rpm slight loss of power sometimes and i never thought about grounds. Could that actually cause something thats that noticiable?

im having a similar problem...i start the car, kind of a hard start, it idles low and rough between 500-700 rpms...theres a mad boost leak, the vac at idle is about 5-7 psi...when i drive slow it seems fine, but when i press the gas down more than like half way to rev high, the car bucks and just doesnt accelerate...is this due to the vac leak or something else?
