Don't be car emo. Your car is awesome. Big dorky wing...awesome. Black vent piece that looks out of place? Awesome! Some of the oddest side skirts? Awesome. Funky front bumper? Awesome. You car is like a culmination of this that I would ordinarily consider tragic to a car and makes them a masterpiece. You're car is the Mr. Verizon FiOS car of the forum. AWESOME!

It's not a culmination of random parts, it's called the definition of a true RE super 7. I'm sure Amemiya San would be very pleased if he hasn't already seen your car.
On a side note ~ Verizon sucks, AT&T FTW!
Kai what you need is a new project. Your 7 is definitely something you should hold on to, just put it in your garage and wait for a nice day. Find a new project (new car build, house improvements, hobbies, etc...). You need to put the 7 in the way back of your mind for awhile and after awhile you'll come back to it and remember why you didn't sell it.
It was supposed to be encouraging another forum member to keep what I consider to be a great car. Awesome and the Verizon commercial just just happened to work into it, but obviously you lack the ability to connect the two. So now let's get back on subject and talk this guy into keeping one of the most gorgeous RX7s and leave the negativity and trolling for another thread.

I just recently took my car to the track and had more fun than a human being should be allowed to have. I did not read all of your posts or your previous experiece and whatnot, but I will tell you that there is nothing like CRUISING and then RACING an FD. The cruising part is so nice, eveyone says how nice your car is, even if it's stock, etc. But then the racing part.... that is the best part. I've driven a few autocrosses with a FWD car and one with the FD... and then recently a road course event with the FD.
I've never been happier with the car. You don't need more than 300 whp on a decent track to have a good time... heck, even less than that would be fine. I was running around 250 whp and I was crapping my pants. I love the FD and will always. It's an amazing car and everyone knows it

a lot of money for very minimal gains. NSX loooks hot, but embarrasingly slow.

I think the key is to set reasonable power goals for the car and stick with it, don't get carried away...my car has been dead reliable after going through everything powertrain related over a year ago and deleting all the superfluous and/or failure prone stuff...then again I'm only running about 15 psi with BNR Stage2s and likely only making 360 at the wheels...still good enough to smoke 98% of the cars on the road and a blast to drive on weekends (aside from all the compliments I get)

The only hateful thing is they didnt' decide to continue the NSX legacy. They just stopped working on a super car. I'm sure they would have had a lot of success with the NSX, just as the Supra will have success.
