Loose air pipe
I'm going to display my ignorance again.
I was changing out my intake the other day and noticed that the the air pipe to the rear tubo was a bit loose. I'm talking about the metal pipe that connects the upper intake hose to the rear turbo. The FSM just calls it an "air pipe". Looking at it closely, it looks like there is a rubber bushing where the air pipe mounts to the engine up above and then just two bolts down below where it connects to the turbo. The rubber bushing is shot and that is what is allowing the 3/8 inch movement back and forth at the top of the air pipe.
I have a couple of questions:
Any idea how I would describe this bushing to Ray Crowe to get a replacement?
If I replace that bushing, can I just tighten the two bolts that mount the air pipe to the turbo?
Thanks.

Just describe it like that to Ray I know what part you are talking about. If those back bolts are loose definately tighten them but you can only tighten them so much. If the rubber bussing is shot you need to get a new one.

Maybe someday I'll spot your FD around since we aren't too far from each other.
