Question Loose air inlet pipe?

I'm not sure if I named it correctly, but it's circled in red in the photo.

That part (I'm assuming it pulls air into the turbo) is loose! Can someone tell me the correct name for it, and how 'bad' is it that it's loose (and what holds it onto the turbo?). I just bought this FD and I was installing a drop in K&N when I noticed this.

You are correct. That is the intake pipe after the air filter to the secondary turbo. The problem with that is you will suck unfiltered air into your engine. Unecessary wear and tear on your apex seals etc.

I believe it's loose from the turbo side. I think there is two bolts that hold it on (but I can only see one). And it doesn't look AT ALL accessible

Also, it will run lean right? Because it's getting extra air that isn't being accounted for by the ECU (but my FD runs rich right now).

I have thin hands, but this is gonna be fun!

So the actual aluminum hardpipe is loose? Its held on by 2 10mm nuts. Get under the car and tighten it up. The can won't run lean this way, but it will suck unfiltered air.
