Looking for Greddy M-Spec Intercooler Instructions

^^^ I am looking for the instructions for the discontinued Greddy M-Spec Intercooler. Greddy has the V-Spec instructions on their site and they are similar but not quite the same. They are no help in getting me the instructions for the M-Spec.

Anyone have them?

Thanks

^^^ Cause I'm feeling nice (and because I would like some help) I won't even bust your ***** for not reading my request before accusing me of not searching.

That is the V-Spec instructions on Greddy's site (not the discontinued M-spec) and what you linked to.

Cool pics though. Still not the M-spec.

They're exactly the same install, why do you keep saying they're different? I have the M-Spec and used the same instructions that were just given to you and nothing was any different. Install took about 2 hours with no hiccups at all. Straight and easy installation.

^^^ Installation seems the same basically but the piping is a little different I think.

I have 5 intercooler pipes in the kit (plus the two to modify the radiator hose) and not 4?

Kits are the same unless you have the Greddy kit for the single turbo. Then the piping is one short I think

i call bullshit. there was no way you did it in 2 hours. bumper removal along with body modifications take at least 2 hours. correct me if im wrong.

i ditched the instructions after about 5 min of reading into them. there confusing and pissed me off. i did just fine without them.

lol idk i didnt really use them either.. i used them for reference... i call shens again.. took me more then 2 hours just to modify my front bumper. with that said its still not even sitting right.

the 2+ hours doesnt include disassembly and cutting the rebar.. plus installing everyhting.. i kinda regretted getting it.. thought it was more PnP.... fail...

lol sorry 7dust i guess i get flamed.. they looked the same and the second link is what i based my install on...

The pics did not really help much with the piping. You just have to play with em until they go in.

The problem that I had was that the Koyo I use is wider than the stock rad. So when I ran the pipe from the cold side of the intercooler up, I had to unbolt the radiator support on that side just to get enough room for the pipe. It pushed the rad forward a little but it works.

I also ended up using a little soapy water for the couplers, and pushing one completely over the pipe on the cold side, then moving it back, instead of taking the stock elbow off.

You're right, I meant 2 hours without removing the bumper and all that because I had it off already. I just used my sawzall to cut the rebar and the 2 small pieces of body you gotta cut, it took me literally 5 minutes and everything else was easy as you can get. Mine is perfectly straight, but it was a PITA to get the pipes in correctly with the larger Koyo radiator.

AH - a response from Greddy:

"Thank you for your interest in GReddy products.
There is not difference between the two similar kits in installation. The only difference is the in the actual core.
So please go by the Vspec manual..."

So there you have it - hopefully this thread will be of use to someone that searches in the future . Looks like the extra pipe in the kit will be depending if I use the stock elbow or if I use the Greddy elbow.

Now if only I can find the pipe to fit a single turbo instead of the twins...
