Looking for a/c line confirmation

So I have a 1992 JDM FD, apparently they changed the system in the JDM cars a few times from the first builds. In the pic below are the lines that bolt to the top of the compressor. Can anyone confirm the line on the US cars' compressors look like the one on the left? The right is my original line, it has a 12mm head bolt while the one on the left that I believe matches the US cars would be smaller. Thanks!

I can't confirm by the picture, but I know the 2 lines that bolt to the compressor on US cars are 12mm head bolts, which should be an M8 bolt.

Hmm.. Thanks for the reply.

Well, I've got an entire a/c system minus compressor from a 1996 RX7 RS on the way. And a US compressor. So I should be an expert on the JDM systems and what can be used from the US cars after this is all over.. LOL. Spending a small fortune for a/c but it will be worth it once it works!

Nice! Keep us posted on what you find out!

From what I've been able to determine there's basically just 1 AC compressor. The later cars had "R134a" on the back of the compressor but I think it may have been primarily the new oil in the compressor. Possible the sensor on the compressor is a different range.

Well the left hose is from a 1995+ JDM FD and the right is original to my 1992 so at this point we know for sure that the compressors, or atleast their connections were different for my car. Once I get the US compressor ill be able to see if my compressor and lines are unique or if the new line I got is unique.

Neither of those lines fit a USDM 93-94' R-12 compressor. That line has a single bolt hole and no second guide hole. I don't know about a 95' R-134A compressor.

I can confirm that my original 92 JDM line bolts onto a US R12 compressor.

I can also confirm that my 92 JDM condenser is the same as a US denso system condenser.
