Try www.petitracing.com
BLITZ FMIC but you have to get a smaller battery.

Yes, M2 lost the rights to sell that core. However, they are now being sold under the old name ASP. You might check with the RX-7Store to see if they have any in stock.

As far as other IC's, you might also look into the PFS SMIC:

It is also a good idea to run a smaller battery tray if your running a bigger that stock SMIC.

Click here for some pics. Saves 10lbs over stock and prevents the battery from rubbing on the IC.

PM me for details.

Also Check out Rotary Extreme's VMount, it requires smaller battery and airbox, but no relocation, and gets you more IC Exposure than SMIC and no Radiator loss as with FMIC....

@ DCrosby
i think alsow that this System is the best ever , but the same problems with the small battery at an non daily drivencar.
When you spin your car like in you little picture , you have many problems when the battery is in the car(sulfur acid ).

Jason at the RX7 Store will have some medium Intercoolers available very soon. In fact everything but the tubing is sitting in front of me for 3 kits. I'm not sure how many of those are already spoken for though.

Ray,

Consider using a small IC like mine (Blitz SMIC) or Greddy SMIC and use water injection.

I run around with lower than ambient temps, its pretty cool (pardon the pun). You get better cooling than a front mount and less lag, lower pressure drop than stock, etc. cost is also cheap (850 for IC, 150 for water injection).

Consider relocating your battery. Its win win, You get a better battery, better traction, better cornering, The battery lasts longer (forever) because it doesnt get hot.
I used an Optima 51 R in the bin with no cutting. EZ

also consider if you relocate it, you cant go to any track event unless you put a cut off valve in the back of your car on the outside. PIA if you ask me.
