I'm not rehashing the old issue, I know the arguments for and against eliminated the FPD, but more of the threads were from 04-06.

So I'm wondering, those people who eliminated the FPD, did you see any long term adverse effects? Specifically those people with factory fuel systems. Did anyone try it with the stock FPR?

I'm rebuilding after guess what-- an engine fire that looks to have started somewhere on the primary rail. Besides a PFC and maybe a new pump, I'm going to be keeping a stock fuel system, so I'm not sure if I should just pick up a new FPD and FPR from ray, or eliminate the FPD and get an after market regulator(seems overkill).

Thanks, I know about this. My questions was if anyone who did the elimination using a factory FPR had any problems in the long term.

 

I've not heard of any .. after I get some other things sorted out, this will be my next modification (w/ aftermarket FPR).

 

I have had mine done for quite a few years. It was done at Banzai when it was still in Michigan, which has been a few years. I have noticed nothing as far as the way the car drives or anything like that. There are a few others that I know that this is done to that have no problems either. Mine has a stock FPR also.
