My driver side door has a problem where if i press the door lock down to lock it and then unlock it, it wont open from the inside or out. If i accidently lock it i can remove the door panel and play with some lever in the door to open the door again but that sucks because i always have to leave my car unlocked! I was wondering If i did a shave door kit like autoloc's (145$) would i have to have any of the locking componets? I know this is probably a cheaper alternative than fixing the locking mechanism unless any of experts out there know what my problem is.
