Location of All VIN numbers?

I need to know the location of all the vin numbers on the car because my car doesnt have the dash vin number or the inner door vin number and I am ordering those from mazda. I need to find all of them and then stencil them, or whatever you call it, onto paper and take that to the mazda dealer so I can order the new ones.

Your car doesn't have the dash VIN number and you bought it anyway?!? It is illegal to remove, deface, or modify the VIN tag riveted to the dash. I can understand the missing stickers in the door jambs if someone had the car totally repainted, but the dash tag missing is inexcusable.

As herblenny stated, the firewall is the first place to look.

The guy who had it before me said it was a race car and had no interior. So it didnt have a dash.

And this makes sense to me because its a 93 but it has the 94/95 dash in it.

yes it has a clean title and the carfax report checked out all ok.

I just need scrapings of the vin numbers in each location on the car...
I just have to find those locations.

As far as I know there is only one place the VIN is stamped into the car and that is on the firewall as Jim pointed out.

You don't really need all the other VINs do you?

Well the dealership first told me that replacement ones are impossible to get. Then after speaking with them some more they said I could get them. They said I need a report from the shop that replaced the dash and from the paint shop that removed the door sticker. On top of that I need a paper scraping of the firewall and of one on the chassis. Then they said when I have all that I can order the new ones and I have to take my car to the dealership and they will install the new ones and check two other locations on the car that have the vin stamped in.

They said if I brought them scrapings of all of them they would let me install them myself.

Call Ray at Malloy Mazda or Mazdaformance and get a second opinion. They may be giving you the whole story, but many (most) local dealer parts departments are full of BS.

I don't know where any other VINs are stamped in the body of the car besides the firewall and I've cut a few FDs up and thrown them in the recycle bin. I've seen them top and bottom, inside and out.

I know I haven't looked at every square inch of the internal parts (between panels) of the body, but if the VIN is in a place where the car needs to be cut apart what is the point of having it there?

Same here, and I've never seen the VIN anywhere but the three locations already mentioned.
