little gas high boost

little gas high boost
I was driving the other day and well i boosted at about 12 psi and i ran out of gas and it sputterd and died i got more gan and started it runs but choppy any thing to do?

Were you boosting on an empty tank? Do you have a boost gauge? If so, who much vacuum is it pulling?

This is the second thread like this in 24 hours. I'm not sure why people would floor their car when they were on empty

gas
well i thougth i had at least a few gallons. my guage is broken. and yes my boodt guage was reading 12 psi then it bogged down and died. i filled it back up and it was empty. it has then started but runs with the iddle jumping up and down fron 750 to 400 with an unsteady brump brump brump sound from the muffler

Start with a compression test. If that checks out ok, then start checking your manifold gaskets.
