Were you boosting on an empty tank? Do you have a boost gauge? If so, who much vacuum is it pulling?

This is the second thread like this in 24 hours. I'm not sure why people would floor their car when they were on empty

Start with a compression test. If that checks out ok, then start checking your manifold gaskets.
