r1/r2 lip with the 93-95 front.. 99 lip on the 99 spec front..

im going with the 99 front next year and painting the 99 lip red..i need to make a decision on wheels though..

99 lip, though installed on a 93 it will hard not to scrap it.

Painting the lip isn't a good idea. The lip WILL hit the ground at some point and crack the paint to pieces.

Yep. I hit mine all over the place. I figure I'll just replace it once it's all beat up.

BTW, I prefer the '99 spec lip:

It just gives the car a little more aggressive look, which I like.

There was mention earlier in this thread about some added downforce to the front. I did notice that my car seemed a little more stable at higher speeds. Might be a placebo effect, might not.

but hey, thats the risk people will have to take

plus i think it makes the car look better overall imo

Yes painting the lip is a risk but I feel. I had to do it anway because it had been painted in silver before I bought it.

I do not regret it though I feel it make the car appear more solid from the front when everything is in one color. If one day it will chip off the paint I will simply remove the lip and repaint it. No trouble with that.
