Talking Which lip do you guys better?? 93-95 spec or 99 +???

Hi~~~
I'm trying to buy a lip very soon and I was wondering what you guys think looks better on the 93-95 bumpers we have in the US. I have a 93 and I'm trying to decide what looks better.....
What do you guys prefer???
Thanks

I never thought I would be the guy saying do a search, but here I go anyways...

Do a search. Many polls on this.

p.s. 99 by a long shot!

Does it really matter what we think? It is your car and you are free to make your own choices.
Pick which one YOU like better, keeping in mind a 99spec lip is about half the cost of a 93-95 lip.

After all, this is America, where we have freedom of choice and expression (for now at least)

Since you asked...

For the '93 - '95 cars, I prefer the R1/R2 air dam, the '99 air dam for the '99+ cars. For each respective body styles, their air dams look they belong on the car (not vice versa), and they fit right.

Well said.

Also from a autocrossers point of view the 99+ lip hangs out farther and serves as a cone catcher, not good for times.

I personally like the '93-95 R1-2 lip for those respective years, and like the '99 lip for the 99 bumper.

Here's a few pics. First pic car on the left is with a 99 lip on a 99 bumper, car on right, 99 lip on a 93 bumper.

Second pic is on a 93 on a 93. Just a cleaner look IMO.

Is that "goodfellafd3s'" car? Looks AWESOME. I had the same Fikse wheels, but they just didn't look as good on a white car as they do on red so I sold them.

Hmmm, I prefer the black lip as opposed to body colored.

Have you seen the 99 spec in person? Make sure you do before making any decision. It doesnt fit right on a 93 bumper and IMO looks bad.

actually the 99 was designed to help keep air from spilling back out and under the car. The 99 radiator opening is larger than 93-95 and they had air coming back out since it couldn't get through the radiator fast enough and going underneath the car. The 99 lip would then let the air slide around and over the sides that had a small angle to then to maybe help with a little downforce on the front. NOt much downforce, but more than the 93-95 lip.

For a 93 car like mine I prefer a 93 lip. It fits better in my opinion and helps to keep the car to it 93 style.

As always the choice is yours.
