Limp mode, need help

Ok so I just went into my engine for the first time over the winter and replaced the LIM gasket, installed all the block off plates from banzai and went simplified seq. Finally got it running today but I think it's in limp mode. Any time I try to get on the the throttle it just cuts out and bucks. I'm on the stock ECU so I'm getting a CEL for removing all the emissions stuff but I thought I'd try to pull the codes to see if there was something else I screwed up, but it's not giving me anything when I try to pull them, CEL stays solid on.

if you removed the emissions stuff it will put you into limp mode unless you either A: leave the solenoids plugged in with no hoses attached (what I did when i went non sequential) or B: replace them with resistors....from what i've read they should be 330 ohm 1/2 watt resistors...i picked some up from radio shak the other day but haven't installed them yet....so you may want to get comformation from someone else that has done it to be sure....but also once you do whichever you'll have to clear the ecu by pulling the neg battery cable off and holding down the brake pedal for 30 seconds....( i've ran into this recently when i had all my solenoids unplugged from going non sequential and was in limp mode....plugged them back in while it was running and it stayed in limp mode until i cleared the ecu)

thanks. I feel like kind of a moron haha. I just heard this from a friend as well. If I go ahead and get a powerFC now I shouldn't have to bother with jumping those connectors though right?

Correct, the PFC does not require resistors.
