Lights in side vents?

Are lights in the side vents standard? Just wondering. I have some lights in the side vents behind my front wheels, wondering if the previous owner did this.

If you're referring to the vents in the fender, the lights are not standard.

as far as i know they are not but give us a pic and how he set it up. I think i might like it, others might think its ricey but i think it might just be an added touch you make it stand out above the rest

Please do. Have to see a pic before passing rice judgement upon them.
I could see maybe a colored indirect mild glow.

hmmmm...

Can always chalk it up to downpipe/turbo glow on the right side for the ricers.

I think the same thing would be nice on interior vents. Nothing too bright; just enough so you can see them.

sweet. Funny guy, I remember an article several years ago about a guy w/ a fd that put his shift light in the interior vent. Cool, but in Florida I want as much air going through there as possible.

I don't think it's cheesy, I think it's awsome. It's vary unique and after all what would the FD be if it wasn't as unique as it is? What would the world be if you werent allowed little mods by law? every damn car would be the same. IHMO this is something i would expect to see on a show car, not a rice car. No offance was taken from Sloraxe when he wanted me to hold my panties while he came

Heeeel yeah!

I'll look at the wiring later and see how they did it, I think its cool and all, you really cant see them enless your close 5' or more to the side of the car. I just wish the previous owner put the $ somplace else on the car, I still have a plastic AST

Mmmmmm. Pass the soy sauce. Should get those light-up windshield squirters to match. Sorry so harsh, just being honest.

Just imagine: giant A/F gauge display! Michael, I'm starting to run lean!

Sloraxe,

I am almost completely disinterested in mods that are appearance oriented (and expected to hate your vent light before I saw pics), but those lights are kind of cool. I wouldn't spend the time to do it to my car, but removing them would be pretty low on my list of "weight reduction" to-do items, so they would probably stay.

Well I think they look fine, even a little cool. I don't think they're too ricey either
