Probably 8-10lbs on the tar, the stuff really isnt all that heavy...

My newest brainstorm is removing ALL the FD chassis wiring (racecar) and jegs sells a street car kit. Which is signal relays, brakes, nuetral switch, lights, the bare minimum to make it street legal. I will be running all Autometer gauges so the use of the underdash wiring is useless, all the OEM relays/fuse boxes will be useless. Should shed around 40lbs im hoping and you bet i will weigh it! Should be doing all that fun stuff tomorow.
Other branstorm was to fab a carbon fiber plate (from an old hood) to block off my sunroof. Should save another 40lbs easily.

Removed ALL the factory chassis wiring/relays/fuseboxes from the seats foward a few days ago. Going to weigh it all tomorow, feels like a solid 30lbs. I still didnt get the wiring that runs along the inside of the running boards towards the rear. Might be another 5 lbs in all that including ABS brainbox which i just found in the rear. The sound deadening material might have been good for a solid 10lbs. As for the tar, its a royal pain in the *** to scrape up and its a rather light material as it is. So i dont know if il break out the wire wheel and go to town on it as of right now...

Lupe, do you still have all the OEM chassis wiring?
