^^Good point. Merry Christmas, by the way!

Personally, I'm going to try and keep my car relatively streetable, and focus on losing weight as opposed to adding tons of power. This is my wish list:

Downpipe
Odyssey mini battery
Racing seats, without sliders
Lightweight suspension parts: coilovers, suspension arms, etc. Try to eliminate rear swaybar.
Remove cruise control, air pump, power steering and maybe AC as well
Smaller "metallic" cat converter, lightweight titanium exhaust
Moderately-sized aftermarket IC, radiator, and oil cooler; there's no point in dissipating 500hp worth of heat when you're only making 300-350hp.

I'm hoping to get down to 2600, but I'm not in a rush to get there.

Here's some of the things you can do. I've done most of these already and plan on doing the rest at some point.

Single Turbo with downpipe.
Amuse full Titanium Exhaust downpipe back
Braille 11.5 pound battery
Recaro SPG Seats without sliders
Remove Air Bags and ABS
Carbon Fiber Driveshaft
Carbon Fiber Doors
Carbon Fiber Hatch with FAL Lexan Window
Wiring harness simplification
Sleek head lights
Interior removal
Heater removal
A/C removal
Powersteering removal
Single gauge/dash cluster. Stack, Defi DSSC, etc...
Windshield washer fluid removal
CE28N Wheels with Toyo T1-S tires
Titanium or Aluminum open end lug nuts
Two piece brakes with aluminum hats
Racing Beat Aluminum Engine Housings
Lightened Engine Rotors
Custom Intake Manifold
Electric Water Pump
Kiwi-RE light weight e-shaft
Removed unnecessary bolts, replace others with hollow titanium or aluminum or even plastic bolts
Speed Glass
Remove windshield wipers

Where do you get "titanium suspension pieces (trailing arms/Toe links)?"

Couple thoughts regarding the items listed above and a few new ones:
-An electric water pump is probably heavier than the stock pump since it has an electric motor instead of a simple pulley.
-The stock seats are very light. The sliders are heavy though. Replacing the sliding assembly with fixed units might save as much as going to aftermarket seats, granted not bare bones race shells. Either way it's not going to make much of a difference, especially considering the loss in convenience
-Removing the side impact door beams to save a few pounds??? -get real, unless you plan on using a cage.
-The stock driveshaft is very light. Most of the weight comes from the pivot points and the ends, so switching to an aluminum or carbon fiber shaft isn't going to do much of anything.
-A lot of weight could be saved by switching to an aluminum sheet metal intake manifold and throttle body.
-none of the HVAC stuff weighs much except for the A/C mainly because of the parts in the engine bay.
-Tow hooks and bolts are heavy. I removed 1 of the 2 on each end of the car.
-The Rear carpet is heavy
-The rear shelf is heavy
-The dash board is really really heavy, but also structural. I understand why Dodge spent a fortune creating a magnesium dash support structure for the Viper.
-The steering rack and shaft is heavy. Not sure I have the guts to try an aftermarket unit though.
-Tube frame front half!
-Shocks/springs -I know someone that created a push-rod setup so he could use shocks that are about 1/3rd the length of the stock units, but he gave up some room in the trunk and a lot of wheel travel in the front.
-Glass sunroof. It is very heavy, but I love having it

I saved close to 5 pounds by going with an electric water pump. Of course this includes getting rid of the housing and studs.

Nice looking setup. Did you retain a heater connection, turbo coolant lines, and T-stat? In any event, I stand corrected.

I did retain the turbo coolant lines, but didn't retain the heater core connection as I no longer have the heater core in place. I also eliminated the thermostat because my water pump has temperature variable flow control unit that speeds up or slows down the coolant flow depending on the temperature.

I was going to have those made last year, but no one was interested.

Which pump did you use?

Craig Davies? Mazier?

Did you fab the plate to replace the water pump?

DAMN that will save you a lot of weight right there. I don't know why I never though of this. I have access to all type of size on this. To bad that is only on metric sizes.

You should give it a try; you won't go back to pump!
