light issues

My lights worked fine, FD sat for a few days, now no lights turn on, brake, head or turn. Here's the kicker, if I pull the brights on (to flash) they work, if I push to set the brights (to stay on) on nothing.
Any ideas? Doesn't make sense.

Ok, messed with the relay and almost everything works.
Here is the new stumper. Hazards work, turn signals flash, BUT, the turn signal won't work from the switch without the hazards on.
What is the turn signal fuse labeled, I don't see one for turn signals, just hazard.

First off, check to make sure your driver's side front tire hasn't worn through the fender liner and worn into the wiring harness. This is the #1 reason for this type of issue. Jack up the car, remove the tire, and have a GOOD LOOK, don't just half look in there with the car on the ground and tire on. Do this before you go further.

Get the shop manual, it's available to download, and go through wiring diagrams. I think the turn signal fuse is called "TURN" or something.

The harness was relocated to a more secure location. So that's not the issue, it was in my 1st FD though. 🤦
As for the fuse, I wish it were called ",turn" but that would be too easy. Went thru the shop manual last night and going to run through the wiring and cpu2. Wish me luck

Mazda RX-7 Reference Materials

Page F-1 in the wiring diagram has that circuit. Looks like HAZARD and METER are the 2 fuses involved.

May also want to download the Body Electrical Manual, that has troubleshooting for each electrical system in the car.
