My head light likes to wink!

Sometimes when i turn my head lights on, the left one will go down and back up by itself,and sometimes it will keep doing it until i turn the lights off and on a couple times.Any Ideas!

Check for binding or kinked linkage. Lube the hinges. It's a safety feature to keep fingers, etc from being pinched when washing your lenses when up.
