Lexan Rear Window options?

I've searched the forums (and the interwebs) and didn't find anything

Is there anyone in the US who makes lexan (polycarbonate) rear windows?

If not, does anyone have suggestions for making/buying one from overseas?

Yes, and they are in the UK. I'd rather avoid the $150 in shipping (and the unfavorable exchange rate).

If I don't have other options, I can use them, but I was hoping for something a little closer to home.

If you send us a cardboard/paper template we can cut it on the CNC. We are within driving distance so delivery should be easy/cheap.

Depending on how much of a hurry you are in, I might be able to track down a local that will let me trace their window.

I suspect no one actually has one. If you check Flex-a-lite's website, every single window page has this announcement:

Flex-a-lite Product Announcement: Flex-a-lite would like to announce to our valued customers; effective immediately part numbers 9025 and 9025B are obsolete (that's this part)

Oof...

Have you checked ZumSpeedRX-7's build thread? https://www.rx7club.com/build-thread...1002905/page3/

He has the part number and Flex a lite he ordered, you could probably pm him and get more info.

I had a Percy's Speed Glass on my DSM. High quality stuff and I had it clear coated to avoid getting a haze. Not sure if they make one for the Fd though.

I'm putting in a carbon fiber trunk lid, and a lexan rear window will save another 25lbs or so. (and since I am going to buy glass anyway...) I have a roll bar, so I'm not concerned about the structural issues in a crash.

Flex-a-lite seems to have stopped making them, but I haven't gotten a confirmation directly from a live person.

I went that route, but make sure you install the lexan with screws and glue. I had my glass guy glue it and it flew off. I bought the one from Summit Racing.

Mazda makes them too. You might check with the new Tri-Point to see if they can order it for you via Mazdacomp.
