I think it would be very tight to get a twin turbo V8 in the FD body. I seriously doubt it is possible. It doesn't sound like you have researched it too much yet. Perhaps you could start with an NA V8 and maybe supercharge it or something. Be aware that any such swap will be a big project that you will need mad skills or mad money to complete.

use the 3 rotor turbo *******
that's what it's on this planet for

if you want a 350 get a camaro if you want a 351 get a saleen mustang
if you want your car to actually move stick with a rotary and turbo it. Other people have had some success with this I think

personality #2:

oh that's a great idea man I wish you luck on it I was thinking the same thing

twin T66??? you'll never use them to their full potential, why not going a little smaller/cheaper turbos? are they having a special some where in which they are giving away T66? If so, lemmy know! I could really use one!

P.S. Have you seen how tight a V-8 is when shoved in to a FD? The clearence is under an inch for the sides and top and i doubt the front is gonna have very much room for anything else then a radiator/ A/C condenser and fans.

Good luck dude

Just go with a 3 rotor turbo like Snook mentioned. The 20B is an unreal motor and combined with a huge turbo you could smoke almost anything on the road!! Best of luck either way bro.

cost is an issue with some people, LS1 go for about 3.5k with tranny and ecu and wiring harness (a LT1 runs about 1.5-2k with all the above) but a 20b will run about 4-8k (Note: They should cost about 2k but by the time they get to US ground, they usually double or triple in price) and a large turbo upgrade will cost you at least a grand or 2... tuning it to accept the boost out of a turbo upgrade is also gonna cost you a pretty penny... still, if I could, I would get a 20B

Also, like in jim's other thread on his car, no rotary or 4banger will ever have the same torque down low that a V-8 can deliver...
