lean out
ok here is my situation
street ported
blitz sus metal mesh intake
greddy sp exhaust
added gutted out cat. started running to lean and force to up fuel pump
added 255lph fuel pump problem fixed
want to add down pipe to relieve access heat from turbos
will this cause me to lean out again
everything else is stock on my car including the ECU yes I know the solution get an ECU/ fuel piggy back sys but don't got the cash right now.

And HOW are you determining you are running lean with no wideband o2 sensor?
If you don't have money to properly upgrade things, then don't do it. Put a stock cat back on, get your downpipe, install a manual boost controller and then leave the car alone.

Well I figure I'm leaning out because after I put the gutted cat on at high acceleration the car stuttered quite a bit next morning it would not even start until the higher flow fuel pump was added. now it runs fine. everything was replaced when the part went bad IE blown motor rebuild with port, intake need replaced. exhaust came with car.
so you are saying put on the DP keep old CAT

BOOOYAHHHH!
i see another blown motor getting closer in your future.
Just because you had stutter dosent mean it was lean. Yes, running lean can do that. But detonation/running rich can also. Put your old cat on, get a DP. next mod get a Power FC. If you dont want to go down the blown motor road agan take my advise.

It's obvious you have much to learn about these cars as you are NOT going about things the right way!
Get a boost gauge. Immediately. And a water temp gauge while you're at it. Even a cheapy autometer will be much better than nothing!
There are many reasons your car could have "stuttered", ranging from boost cut to fuel starvation (low fuel levels in tank). The stock ecu is very, very rich up to 10 psi (stock boost level) and can generally support several bolt-ons -- AS LONG as the boost remains at 10 psi. With a few mods, a boost controller will most likely be required to maintain 10 psi.
1. Put your stock cat back on.
2. Get a boost gauge.
3. Install your downpipe and verify boost levels. You will likely have to install a boost controller (manual is cheap!) to maintain 10 psi.
4. Leave the car alone until you are more knowledgable about what you are doing.
