Question Leaky Front Seal and Turbo

Mazda dealer pointed out leaks at both the front seal and turbo. They were smart enought to suggest I have someone else do the work. Luckily there are
a couple of very good rotary shops nearby.

Question: having these two areas leaking oil (at the same time) -- does that usually point to any one issue?

Thanks for any input,

By front seal are they meaning Front Cover or Front Main Seal? One is a lot more work than the other to repair.

I don't think it means there is a bigger problem. Did they say where the leak was for the turbos? Typically they leak on the oil return lines. The replacement gaskets are pretty cheap, but the labor to replace them can be quite a bit.

The "dealer" just said front seal leak. He showed me the oil coming off the back of the turbo. I'll probably get a better feel once the Rotary shop guy looks at it, hopefully Thursday. It's Kilo Racing in Orlando and his shop was full of 3rd generations. I'm hopeful that he'll figure it out
