For stock or mildly modded engines (under 300rwhp) run the stock plugs as listed in the manuals, either for the FD (platinum) or FC (non platinum).

For engines over 300rwhp, search.

All of this has been explained too many times, and is in the manuals.

Go study these sites:

Most power junkies run the NGK BnnEGV series but these require a special socket which can be bought at Racing Beat, or one can be made. It requres a thin wall socket as these plugs were not designed for the rotory engine and do not extend far enough for a regular socket to work.

Run B9EGV on all four positions or B8EGV leading and B9EGV trailing; gapped at .022" to .030".

I have about 390RWHP and run 15PSI boost with B9EGV leading and B10EGV trailing.

As I understand it, due to the elongated nature of the combustion chamber in the rotary, MAZDA uses a leading and trailing plug, the latter firing a fraction of a second after the other to promote more uniform combustion.
With the mods you posted in another thread, I'd go all 9s as well. A little cooler plug may foul a bit easier, but it should also gives you a small margin of safety over stock. My .02.

theres a lot of people that run 9's all around. a good setup for higher power would be 10's leading and 9's for trailing. it all depends seriously on your power level, ignition system, and fuel setup. theres lots of info out there. im going with 10.5's all round this time yet im going to be doing 450+ whp

sorry for double post... also very important if your running any standalone setup what kind of tune was done... meaning agressive or conservative! just figure out your power level and let it go from there! and before someone comments on my 10.5's around chris rogers also recommends this setup for high power!
