Latest progress on my car (indpendent twins, autometer gauges, etc)... lotsa pics
I've been busy, and I'm down to just a few things left:
-radiator
-intercooler, air filters, & plumbing (I need a Greddy Elbow, anybody have one?)
- finishing the downpipes & exhaust
- adjusting the PFC maps
- adding diff and tranny fluid
- bleeding the brakes
- turbo oil drains & water feed/returns
... and I'll be driving (although not done). In the interim, here are a few photos. So far, I've:
- figured out the wastegate actuator location problem. I ended up using two DSM T25 actuators (11 psi springs, 97+ eclipse GS-T). The compressor housings are headed to the machine shop monday to get re-tapped to mount these WGA's.
- Decided what to do about merging the downpipes. I got a hold of a very nice SS mangaflow 2-into-1 muffler, with a nice formed internal merge collector. It has two 2.25" inlets, and one 3" outlet, and it's just the right size to fit in the well for the main cat
- Finished and tested the fuel system, including the new Warlboro fuel pump
- Finished the autometer gauge cluster conversion. Everything is wired and working, except the speedo. It's filling space right now, until I have the time to mold my PFC commander display into the stock speedo hole. As you can see the cluster uses the stock harness connector for all of its power and other connections, and anything that's not on that connector has a bullet connector on it so I can take the dash out easily if necessary.
- geez, misc other things...

Very nice. Only comment I'd make is the battery location. I know you had the brace welded already, but that battery REALLY gets cooked by the radiator. Ida put it in the back (no wait, I did!), but that's just me....
Nice job!

Everything is looking great! Keep up the good work. I think your MagnaFlow is identical to mine. You're gonna be very happy you decided to go with the MagnaFlow instead of one of the other over-priced back-cats.

On the brace, there was no welding - just some extruded aluminum, 10 minutes with my chopsaw, and a drill
