Latest farm implement photo
Just finished waxing her despite all the grain dust from the corn elevator in my backyard. I thought I'd use the culprit for a little different photo.

actually two things...or more... your causing more damage not waxing your car then having the "*****" to do it. start with waxing with an applicator and micro fiber towels. use Meguiar's NXT tech wax (you do know how to wash right?..get 2 5 gallons buckets, one for rinsing the mitt after washing a panel one for clean soapy water. get a sheepskin mitt an megs soap) . then start claying, then get a PC7424 and start polishing ...youll love it.

such a contrast with the background it almost looks liek it was photoshopped
good advice with www.autopia.org . I thought I knew how to wash and wax, that is until I was schooled by that website. When i get home I'll send the link to where you can get a PC7424 cheaper than on that site.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I didn't expect that.
Wax is Zymol. I learned the best way to use the stuff is to first wash the car with mild soap, rinse well and dry with a real leather chamoi. Let it dry for 30 minutes more and then use as little Zymol as you can get away with. I use about three drops the size of a quarter over 4 square feet. One other trick is to use worn flannel rags. They don't leave swirls.
The photo was made with a Nikon D1H camera about 5:30 p.m. central with very little light remaining. Image was toned in Photoshop to approximate what the scene actually looked like. No real PS tricks were used although I did change the license plate.

Everyone else has already said it but that is a very sharp pic. If you removed the lame front plate that would be a picture worthy of a factory ad campaign when the car was introduced, it really is that good.
It does show how much better the car looks without all the rice panels, front clips and big wings. Again very nice pic.
