Late Transition............
I'm not hitting transition until 6K RPM. I have a consistant (due to cold weather and open exaust) 13-10-14 boost pattern. Late Transition is the only symtom I have, boost prior to and after are fine. I made good numbers on the Dyno (313 RWHP) about 4-5 months ago. I have put 6K miles on since the new engine. See SIG for additioal info about my car. I have searched and hit all the major sites for info but I haven't found anyone with this problem that didn't have another associated problem i.e. low boost after late transition.....any ideas.
TIA

Check the butterfly in the y-pipe. Mine was sticking and would cuase a slow transition. I got a used one from someone that went non-sequential and that fixed it. I tested it by apply pressure to the actuator that opens it. It was hanging up in the middle.

If your primary turbo is kicking in right then im assuming its a leak somewhere or your Charge Relief Valve. If thats not it then check your wastegate control solenoid. its located right by your UIM and sorta below the pressure chamber.
