KOYO Radiator Special For FDs $375.00!!
As one of my sponsors I am on good terms with KOYO. I was talking to them and one of their distributers. If anyone is intrested in KOYO Aluminum Race Radiators I have worked out a deal that you guys can get them for $375.00(fob)
County Radiator in Orange CA has approved a deal for anyone intrested. Call 714/771-3191 and ask for Randy. Tell Randy that you are calling about the Rx-7 deal that Chris and Doug arranged.
Hope you guys like the deal. $375.00 isn't bad.
This deal is only for FD radiators and only if you metion that it was the deal that I arranged with Doug.

Yes it was.
The radiator will fit in the stock location. The forum won't let me attach an image since i used the image in another post.
I have the Koyo radiator, I used to have the Ron Davis/KnightSports radiator, my friends have the FEED and Fluidyne ones. Honestly they are all the same. They are all great radiators but there really isn't that much of a diference.
Koyo is a big OEM manufacturer and have their line of K-Sport all aluminum performance radiators for limited applications.

Sounds too good to be true. It kind of has the alley way special taste to it. Is there any more details to this deal besides meet bobo at the backdoor and ask for snakes?
I am interested though. I just pulled my radiator out tonight when I found it leaking arournd the upper end tank. I just don't want to call and get.. Randy who, doug what? Who is this?...

Just call...I spoke with Doug this afternoon and set it up. County Radiator is one of the few Koyo Distributors. This is not a group buy this is just a deal that was made for them to start pushing the Koyo line and a way for FD owners to get a radiator.

novice question
Okay here goes...since it "fits" into the stock radiator location doesn't that mean its the same size..i.e. small and inadequate??
On a scale of radiators...i.e. Excellent to bad where does this radiator lie? How does it compare to others on the market??
Now I know that this question may not get answered but here it is anyway...does anyone know if this is legal in SuperStock autoX class?
Thanks for the help and sorry for all the questions but I'm really interested in this thing

This looks like a kick *** radiator, perhaps the best I have seen so far. Take a look at the website. I can't see why there would be any fitment problems unless they made up the mountings without referencing stock placement. I doubt that.

Actually Koyo's new site is www.koyocooling.com
Yes it does have the small fitment on the bottom of the radiator for the AST line.

This is not a group buy so there is no "due date." Just call and if they don't have it in stock then at least put your info in so on their next shipment they will have you down.
I know one guy went down and they were out of the Koyo so they gave him a Fluidyne one for like $400.00 because they felt bad since he drove down. (not sure if that was a one time thing or not)
Not sure what they will do about being out of stock but from what they told me they will honor the $375.00 for the Koyo for anyone who mentions this deal.
