The radiator will fit in the stock location. The forum won't let me attach an image since i used the image in another post.

I have the Koyo radiator, I used to have the Ron Davis/KnightSports radiator, my friends have the FEED and Fluidyne ones. Honestly they are all the same. They are all great radiators but there really isn't that much of a diference.

Koyo is a big OEM manufacturer and have their line of K-Sport all aluminum performance radiators for limited applications.
It will fit in the stock location... but not very easily, well at least mine didn't. I took mine to Rotary Power in Gardena to get it installed and they had to redrill the mounting holes for the brackets to get it in there good. But then, for $375, who cares if it has some fitment issues, heh. I got mine for like $435, damn. I'm very happy with the radiator now that it's actually in there though... fitment does need work.

Sounds too good to be true. It kind of has the alley way special taste to it. Is there any more details to this deal besides meet bobo at the backdoor and ask for snakes?

I am interested though. I just pulled my radiator out tonight when I found it leaking arournd the upper end tank. I just don't want to call and get.. Randy who, doug what? Who is this?...

novice question

Okay here goes...since it "fits" into the stock radiator location doesn't that mean its the same size..i.e. small and inadequate??

On a scale of radiators...i.e. Excellent to bad where does this radiator lie? How does it compare to others on the market??

Now I know that this question may not get answered but here it is anyway...does anyone know if this is legal in SuperStock autoX class?

Thanks for the help and sorry for all the questions but I'm really interested in this thing

This looks like a kick *** radiator, perhaps the best I have seen so far. Take a look at the website. I can't see why there would be any fitment problems unless they made up the mountings without referencing stock placement. I doubt that.

I like the CRB site more. Nicer setup, but still, what a deal.

No... the Koyo radiator is certainly not small and inadequate. It's pretty damn big and more than adequate and maybe that's why it doesn't fit so great. There just isn't a whole lof of room for the bigger radiator in the stock mounting position and this radiator pretty much streched the limits. The fact that it's so thick, pushes up everything like the air box, intercooler, etc. I can barely get the hood prop to stay on the little clip cause it's getting pushed up a bit. All the radiators that are thicker than stock probably push things up a bit, but the Koyo is probably one of the thickest ones. Also it's a bit too tall, so that creates some fitment issues too but once you get the Koyo in there, it does work very well. Again, I don't know, maybe Koyo has fixed these fitment issues but mine certainly had issues... including the mounting holes being a bit off. It's good to know that hksfd3s can relay this info back to Koyo though so that maybe they can make some corrections on the design.

Yeah, that's my question. I just dropped money in the bank right at 1:00, but since it's a holiday weekend who knows when it'll be credited? Maybe as late as Tuesday at midnight.

I know one guy went down and they were out of the Koyo so they gave him a Fluidyne one for like $400.00 because they felt bad since he drove down. (not sure if that was a one time thing or not)
[/B]
That was me who went down there. Doug was a really nice guy and got me a deal. I just got a Fluidyne for $25 more cause driving back and forth there would probably cost the same in gas. Now it's time to install it...
