Koyo installed... 1 question.

So i finished puttin in my koyo radiator earlier this week, but everytime i go to check the coolant i find myself adding more each time. about 4 oz each time i top it off. Anyway, the car doesnt leak any, and I didnt have this problem before. So could this be the system slowly bleeding the air out?

by the way, the coollant light never comes on... i just check it each morning due to fear of overheating.

Do you burp the system every now and then, also it will pump a little into the overflow when it does not need it and when it needs it, it will suck it back out, so really your just filling the overflow but also remember to burp the first few times, BTW the koyo rules doesnt it! Probably the #1 investment I have made thus far...!

It's about time you did that. I would like to see how things look.

yes, the koyo is huge compared to the stock radiator. I can drive hard around town all day without the fans kickin in at all. I did have some problems with the installation. I have a greddy FMIC with the miata battery, and i had to downsize the battery once again to the odessey 680. I dont have a digi cam, but ill see if i can get my friend to get some pics up for me.

adam c, we should go grab lunch sometime.
