When did the kouki model start? In Holland they stopped importing it in 1997 so I was wondering if the kouki model was from 1997. I do read stuff about 1999 and up so is the kouki from 1999?

 

99 they changed the looks and went to 2002

When they say zenki or kouki models they are usually talking about earlier and later models. The 1st to the 5th model Rx-7s are usually zenki models with 8 bit ECUs and squareish tail lamps. The kouki models are the 6th models and above. 16 bit ECUs, round tail lamps and more updates to the chassis and cooling system.

You wanna know how i know this ..hehe.. BMI Vol23 (i think) - America touge. They have a whole segment about the FD3S. The EG and the S2000s in the first are cool too
