There's a Koni yellow group buy happening. I was kinda hesitant. I too have heard these ride a little rough for normal street use. "Koni user's"--- Is this True?

Are the setting flexable enough to get a decent close to factory touring ride and hard enough to take to the strip or road course?

Or are these going to knock out my fillings?

My car is a base model on stock springs. With the Konis on full soft I find them a tad firmer than the base struts, but softer than the R1. Perfectly streetable as my behind will attest to over 17,000 miles last year.

Get the Konis.

 

are you guys upgrading b/c your stock struts are shot or b/c you simply want to improe the handling of your car?

 

I'm running the koni's also. They are great for the street or track. Fully adjustable to whatever kind of ride you want. Personally I like them on the hardest setting and lowest ride height, handles excellent.

ps..Id get them again in a second...ya ever take right hand turns at 60 mph???? lol

I love em....set on their softest setting it is bearable.

I have Koni's and Ground Control springs. I'll tell ya, if I could do it over, I'd go new, fresh stock Touring struts and Eibach ProKit springs w/ the 1" drop. It's the best of everything. Great on the street and would be not unreasonable on the track.

 

I just put Koni's and GC kit on yesterday. Spring rates are 550 fr and 400 rr. Compared to the original stock base model setup, they are quite a bit stiffer. My tollerance is high though, and I absolutely love them. Koni's are set at about 3 turns from soft.

I think the ride is just right for the performance I expect versus comfort level.

 

I have the koni's and LOVE them really a nice ride. also have PFS comfort springs. nice setup Ill buy the shocks for future cars in a second

 

Everyone keep in mind ride issues only hold up when everyone is on the same springs. Of course ride quality will go down when you put stiffer springs on; there's no free lunch.
