la is cheap! northern california is expensive as hell for everything...$250 sounds fine to me for a reliable place up here. if i could get someone good to do my suspension for $80 i'd be elated. $80 doesn't buy jack up here. sometimes i still wish i lived in la...

Do NOT get your car aligned at Monroe or any other chain where it'll only be $30. They will not get it right. Hell most Mazda dealers won't get it right. From what I've heard FDs are tricky. As I mentioned, I got mine done by Les at Apex. He's known as the Miata guy around these parts, but more importantly really knows suspension... Better to spend a little bit more to get someone who knows what their doing in this department.
