Can I change springs and keep stock shocks?

When changing springs do I have to change stock shocks too?
If no, does Eibach or H&R springs fits on stock shocks?

yes they do... I long long time ago..I had eibachs on my stock R1...was not too bad

yes you can put different springs on the stock shocks, it just saves work if you do both at the same time. i have eibachs on the stock shocks and it works fine.

I have the H&r springs on my stock struts. They work fine. I think mine are starting to go now though, but they were old in the first place so I'm not sure if its becasue of the drop or becasue fo the age.
