ROCK! wow 12lbs... i wonder how this thing is going to hold up though?? id hate to go over a narow speedbump and scrape it, cause at 12lbs you know it will smush.

PS... anyone know how much the stock cat weighs? i know my DP vs my precat was a SIGNIFICANT difference in weight. im trying to figure how much weight youd drop if you went from a stock exhaust to a DP/metalit/rb-duals ...

hehe im back to postwhore in this thread some more.

i just placed my order... still waiting to hear how long its going to take for them to arrive. i also ordered 2 of those super cute red spirit-r key blanks! its the little things that you enjoy the most, so i figure, while im blowing lots of $$ why not spend 40 more bucks on 2 keys.

one last bump for anyone that wants in on the tail end of this thing

So now that the ordering is done, I wonder if we got 5 or more total?

Anybody know what the exhaust note is like with one of these on? Hopefully not as loud as a midpipe. Maybe like a resonated midpipe? OC, have you ever compared the sound to another FD?

Not sure I ended up ordering one two...

I just hope all the "claims" have some truth and that I can pass smog!

yeah im wondering how these will change the exhaust note. also, (if the claims are true that it flows as well as a midpipe) we need to be wary of boost creep. i dont have a boost gauge as of now... should i have one when i install this pipe to see if there is boost creep? and if there is creep, how do i prevent it? port the wastegate right? do i need a boost conroler?

Mr. Stock, did he tell you they were arriving at Cork on Monday? We might have them in our hands by late next week.

I think so. But I wasn't paying too much attention since I have other issues I need to sort out before I get to replacing my cat.

Yes that is my car in my avatar.
The colors are Lamborghini blue and Porsche silver for the stripes.
I have many pics. If you want to see them, PM me your e-mail address.

BTW, those pics are about 4 years old. Since then the car has travelled over 3000 miles but has been driven 0 miles.

Unfortunately, I am pretty much alone here in Denmark. I cannot compare to a resonated midpipe. I can say, after I installed my KS Metallic HF. My Racing Beat duel exhaust at idle, shows a nice increase in tone and sound level. If you are familiar with the Racing Beat exhaust. You know it has a great sound at WOT. Together with the metallic HF...it sounds ever better
I have been told at the track. My car sounded like or close to a midpipe. But, since I have always been driving and not a spectator. I can't say for sure...sorry.

I have not experienced any boost spikes. I am currently running .90 bar controlled by my PFC.
In the next few weeks I should get papers in the mail for my emissions test appointment. I will let you know how it turns out. Hopefully by then, more people will have recieved there KS HF's. Could be interesting to compare results between different upgrades and mods.

If the order from Corksport arrives in only a few weeks. You should feel blessed. I waited almost 5 months.

Me neither....I'm not sure they would have been delivered today if it was in town anyway - most of everything shut down here today for the day of mourning.

yeah im slightly concerned with boost spikes (i need to buy a boost guage before i put this bad boy on so i can actually see whats going on). to be safe i think its really better to port the WG, but id like to not have to open that can of worms again if i dont have to. ill call corksport soon if i dont hear anything

No, I missed out. It will be a while before I get my new engine anyway, so I'll just wait till then.
