keyless remote entry

I have done a search and found some good info, but never really found an exact answer.....Does anyone have a keyless remote entry alarm system installed that did not cause the cable to break? If so, what alarm system do you have and how was it installed?

I have a cheapo. I am not ever sure what brand it is, but I have not had any problems. I know a guy that installs alarms and stereos and stuff like that, so I had him put in a cheap alarm just so i could get remote lock and unlock. He had to put some diodes in to make it work with the factory actuators but it was no big deal.

I bought a passenger side door lock assembly from the UK where the car's are RHD so I took that and had it installed on my driver's side. It bolts right in, you just have to wire it up correctly to your alarm if you have get an aftermarket alarm and since I didn't know how, I took it to an professional installer.
