I'll call the foundry tomorrow to see if they've shipped. Had to close the accounting year out at the normal company last week so I forgot to call them. Happy New Year btw : ).

Okay some news. They're all done. There will be a few extra days because they want me to send a check for the tubes to them before sending them out since it's the first order, they don't do eft or take credit cards unfortunately.

Just a little FYI for people that emailed or PM'd me requesting a pipe that haven't paid. I was actually reserving pipes for people based on those emails etc. I'm going to just base it on actual payments at this point. The first batch is almost all sold with just the people that have paid and I can't really tell people willing to pay that they have to get in line behind someone that "might" pay later : ) It's not a big deal but just wanted to mention it so there's no surprises.

The news we've all been waiting for : ). The first batch showed up at my office today so they're all done. I'm a little loopy right now from vicodin I'm taking for dental work so I won't be out driving to get boxes and ship them today, sorry. I will likely start shipping them tomorrow though. I don't know if it's the drugs or weight lifting lately but these production ones seem lighter than the first two sample ones. I'll get a count and let people know where we're at. I'm pretty certain the first batch is all sold but I might only need a few more to do a second batch right away, takes about two weeks plus shipping to me. I'll post after sorting it out.

Okay looked everything over and everyone that had ordered (paid) for the pipe prior to yesterday will have their pipe shipped tomorrow or the next day depending on how I feel, not so hot today heh and the weather. I'm going to have the foundry get started on another batch of 15 or 20 under the same conditions as this last one. Delivery in order of payment. They should be complete in 2 weeks.

Not the individual ones sorry, my production manager is on vacation so I've been stepping in to help production people out while she's gone, I need to go over to a place that sells bulk boxes to buy a mess of them in a size for single shipping these things. She comes back Thursday so I should get all that stuff cleared up by then.

Picked up the boxes today and I'm taping them up and putting labels on as we speak. Amy's back now so I can get all this done.

An FYI, keep in mind this pipe is meant to be universal for the large, medium and other setups so there will be a little angle where the pipe meets the IC depending on what position you have your IC in. Fit the IC based on the throttle body side tube and duct, then use the hose coupler to absorb any angle where the IC and tube meet.

Damn that was fast. UPS guy happened to be in the building still when I submitted the orders for pickup and came up 5 minutes later while I was putting labels on boxes. They're on the way then. If anyone wants a tracking number feel free to email me.

Hrmm does $14.76 in shipping alone with no box etc. seem like a lot from Minnesota to Georgia for a 3lbs 13x7x7 box? Might be time to ditch UPS I'm thinking.

Everybody has their favorite but we (and myself) use FedEx ground constantly here at work and I'm always suprised how cheap the rates are. $15 sounds crazy.

I agree, I think UPS has raised their rates. Objects that used to cost 5-6 dollars to ship now cost 9-10....go figure.

Thank goodness the boxes were a little cheaper than I expected. Think I'll be switching to FedX.

FedEx is much better and cheaper. You can use ground or Express saver, also it's easy to sign up for your own account on the net and print out your own labels and schedule pick ups, etc...

I've had terrible luck with fed ex ground/home delivery. I've had 4 packages sent via them and 3 of the 4 were lost. Once showed delivered for 2 days, the other 2 sat on the truck for 3 days. Called the local station and the guy said he was having trouble keeping people. Apparently they are treated like contract work and then sub contracted out the driver who makes aroun 11 an hour. Atleast in my neck of the woods, they sucks *****.
I'll take USPS priority or UPS ground anyday.

I think the washington post did a mailing in december comparing the big 3. Shipments went from a TX address to NY and also Ca. Some the article, the USPS was cheaper and also got them there quicker...go figure.

I got my pipe in earlier this week. I'm not impressed since I feel anyone could have done it just kidding, it's a nice piece and thanks again.
