I would start by calling them, you can find their number on their website.

I am curious to see what you broke, if possible post a pic.

Thanks

i sent them an e-mail. inside the diff, there's a series of clutch plates on each side. some have teeth on the outside of the disk and some have them on the inner. two of the disks on the left side had all the teeth on the inner part sheared off. dunno how it happened, but i'm glad i finally found it!

Do you know how this happened? I was under the assumption that a kaaz diff was bulletproof.

Kaaz makes a good diff but nothing is invincible, keep that in mind. For any of you readin this thread debating the idea of possibly getting a differential. Unless your car is for strict auto-x'ing go with the 1.5 hands down. 2 way is only needed for strict racing.

2 way = both wheels always engaged

1.5 way = second wheel engages under acceleration

Spoolin I got your email.
Price on the rebuild kit is $280 for the newer version and $250 for the older version LSD.

Kinda OT, but its a bad idea to email your Card number unless you used an encrypted email. Normal email is sent over the net in blank test where anyone sniffing the network can pick it up. Just a word to the wise.

i've had it for roughly a year, but it stopped clunking on one side about 3 months or so ago. i didn't think much of it because it still performed fine. guess i shoulda looked at it earlier
