Profile says he has a 240SX, but his mods include a SMIC and non sequential, so I'm guessing he has an FD.

Failure of a thread, either way.

u should have put about 23 cars on him, give or take or a few. I think you need a rebuild, must have low compression.

what year is your FD?

Do you have full non-sequential or "poor mans" non sequential?

My friend has a 94 with a fresh motor, downpipe, RB cat-back and Greddy hard intakes, he pulled like crazy against an 06 STi.

I think he means with the exhaust opened up that much you need at least a standalone and mabye some bigger injectors.

That's not entirely true. You just have to make sure you don't boost past the stock levels. As long as you don't go past 10psi, you should be fine. An open exhaust allows for boost creep, however, and that can be bad (leads to going lean, then detonation, then new motor time)

1/4.....14.0

2006 Subaru WRX STI 0- 0-60......4.5
1/4....13.0

STOCK FOR STOCK STI WINS...BUT THE RX7 IS A 94 AND THE STI IS A 2006...12 YEARS OF TECHNOLOGY THEY BETTA BE FASTER....

Not really... From a roll will definitely help but doesn't mean you'll just automatically win.

People have a very hard time understanding that the FD just ISN'T that fast. They CAN be, and are very fun to drive... but where they excel is on the TRACK where thay can take advantage of other aspects of driving; not just shifting in a straight line.

Don't beat yourself up about it.

Drop another 10-15K in the car and you'll be up with the times.
