It goes to the AST, or air separation tank, located on the rear driver's side of the intercooler. The tube goes into the passenger side of the tank.

That is all. AND REPLACE THE AST with an aluminum one.

Really

I agree, either replace http://66.216.67.51/product.asp?0=352&1=353&3=675 or remove and bypass it http://66.216.67.51/product.asp?0=352&1=356&3=684 with a kit from rx7store.net (you're welcome Jason! )

The only problem i've seen with the by-pass is that my filler neck isnt the type with the bolt on top but it is one whole piece, does anyone know how to by pass and still use that filler neck.

Thanks

Yeah, sorry. Gotta drill and tap it. I figured someone would pipe up here. Basically, you are going to drill a hole in the side of the filler neck BETWEEN the top of the neck and the lower "land" where a pressure cap would seat. Then you tap that hole for a pipe thread fitting, go get a pipe thread to nipple fitting, screw it in with teflon tape, and get a pressure cap. That's it

i dont know if anyone else has had problems bypassing the ast but i tryed the M2 unit and it mad my car run much hotter and overheat. i took it to M2 (i live near them) and they were not sure what was going on. we put the old AST back on and the problem was gone. they said they had this happen a few times before (interestingly enough mainly on '94/'95's i ended up just getting another factory plastic one but now i feel stupid cause i should have gotten an aluminum one (this was before i was on the forum ... i remember taking the car to the dealarship 2 years ago after i first got it.... never again) anyway, some FD's can get pissy if you try and bypass the AST. just my 2 cents
