You can just cut it or...remove the ignition coil pack (held down all together with 3(?) bolts. Unplug the fuel lines and the whole thing should come out together.

If you try to remove the screws holding the rats nest be very very careful...they have a medium loctite on them and its easy to strip them (been there) Use a vise grip to loosen them first. The hard screws are in the rear.

I'm still going through this also so maybe we can help each other.

Today just took out the TCA and wired it open, block off plate to the EGR.

thanks god there is someone working on this while i am. yea, lets help each other out so we can get our car up and running.
I still havent taken out the screws but i've heard that its a lot easier if you use a screw driver and connect that to a rachet, it'll give you more leverage.

Im still debating on weather or not i should buy the block off plates for $95. they come with all the resistors but people are telling me to make my own plates.
To tell you the truth i was planning on just redoing my vaccum lines and doing the poor mans non seq. for now.

I'm doing the rikkimethod right now but went ahead and got rid of all the solenoids. Have the PFC so resistors aren't necessary for me.

As for the block off plates you can make them on your own but if you have the money, buying them makes it a whole lot easier. The quality is really good too!
